I am so thankful to have finally found a gel that I can use on my sensitive scalp and wavy hair. I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis and contact allergies, and this gel (unscented version) doesn’t exacerbate either! I’m still playing around with this gel - too little my waves fall flat, too much and they get stringy. More than likely it’s used error on my end, as I am newly embracing my wavy hair. Hindsight, I should have ordered the defined gel to compare the two. I will do that at some point! This gel is a great fix for the minor static I have after showering with the Clean shampoo and conditioner. My hair looks so healthy now! I’ve gotten several compliments on it! So thankful to have stumbled upon these products! Please don’t stop making them April! I’m so grateful!

Ya’ll, let me tell you. I actually REALLY like this product. I have type 2b/2c with product hair that gets easily weighed down by curl creams. I have only ever been able to use mousses to enhance my wave/curls however it’s been hard trying to find a mousse that has clean ingredients let alone mousses that don’t weigh down. I think overall this gives pretty decent hold with some beautiful texture to my hair. I do find myself going through a little more though because my hair is longer and it is a bit runny but we make it work. I meant to get a photo of what my hair looked like the day of application but forgot. The photo attached is AFTER sleeping on my waves and I think overall my hair stills looks pretty good! It took me a few washings to figure out how much I needed to apply. I recommend putting in more than you think you need. I love the way my hair feels when it is dry. Super soft & not crunchy at all. Highly recommend!
Wow, sometimes the best things really are the most simple ones. I don't think I've ever had a result this good on my first use of any product, ever. My 2a - 3a mix of fine, low porosity waves & curls seem to really love this gel. I do clarify my hair regularly, so I was applying with nothing else built up in my hair. Result with gentle diffusing was a light cast that scrunched out easily. This definitely isn't the curliest result I've had with any product, but i really like the nice, soft hold. The sweet orange scent is subtle and natural, and fades down quickly, which I appreciate. I also really like that this flax gel has a bit of preservative to keep it shelf stable. Very nice product!
It has (for the most part) kept my curls super moisturized with barely any frizzy hair on day 3.
I LOVE this gel! It is very watery in consistency and doesn't have a noticeable smell. It keeps my caucasian, wavy hair frizz free and smooth.
Ms. April,You know I am you #1.5 Fan of your magic ! ...So this is my story ...my hair is curly but for some wacko cultural deal (that “curly”hair in my country )was a bit “Not” cool I guess ?... so I’ve been straightening with products and ironing and recently ( thank you aging ) I was tired to spend so much on straighten my hair products and services ... and just let my curl get loose with this gel ...conclusion I have so much hair ,love my curls, feel like a Goddess, and mainly feelings confortable to have a beautiful curly hair ! Firstly, this is my second time buying the flaxseed gel—it was an absolute game changer, and I totally fell in love with how it treated my curls. Let it be known, in case you didn’t know, it has a completely different feel than a regular gel (i.e.: it’s a bit runny, so care must be taken during application), but I love it so much that it doesn’t even matter.

I'm not big on using anything more on my hair than shampoo and conditioner, but I am so glad I bought this product. I got the travel size and had to come back for the full size. I have wavy 2B hair and this hair gel gives just the right amount of definition to my waves. I can still carefully run my fingers through my hair and the gel keeps my hair from getting frizzy. The hold lasts all day. I highly recommend it.
I absolutely love this lightweight flax hair gel. It’s also phenoxyethanol free. I plan to order a larger size next time.

My fine (henna) hair is wavy and with the right product, I get ringlets too. This Flaxseed Gel gave me nice ringlets. I only air dry my hair and that makes all the difference. There is a slight cast once dry. After scrunching to break the cast, my hair is left with body and all day curls/waves. Nice and soft! I’d say this is a “less is more” product. I didn’t need much for shoulder length hair. In fact, I used about a quarter size amount the first time and that was too much. For a more defined curl/wave, this would be my first choice. Otherwise, I highly recommend their Sea Salt spray for gorgeous waves! I went with the essential lavender scent. It’s very light and doesn’t linger at all. Another great product with exceptional results. I’ll never go back to salon/store products again!

Item arrived as scheduled, I am a repeat customer. It is the only gel my hair likes. Love the fact that I got an envelope to send back the empty container as well. Will reorder for sure.
I'm happy with the products performance because it works. The only reason I gave 4-stars review, it's because the gel dispenser came broke. The product was wrapped in paper and it seemed well protected but it doesn't have a cap for protection. Is it possible to ship a new dispenser that works?
